Terrestrial epiphytic fern that grows on the trunks of old trees and can grow up to 5 cm tall. Leaves are scale- like, simple, light green, fleshy, thick, covered with long white hairs when young turning brown at age. The plant consists of fertile and sterile leaves. Sterile leaves are sessile or subsessile, fleshy, smooth with nearly circular to elliptical leaf blade. Fertile leaves are elongated, petiolate with linear leaf blade.
