Terrestrial branching shrub or woody climber that can reach up to 4 m tall. Leaves are simple, in alternate position, somewhat leathery and large. Leaf blade is oval to oblong, cuspidate or apiculate at apex, cordate or rounded at base with entire margin and pinnate venation. Flowers are red to dark EroZn. Inflorescence a c\me at leaf axils.
